ABOUT.

Karina earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Honours Kinesiology from Redeemer University College.  She went on to receive her Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2005. With a strong focus on developing her orthopedic and manual therapy skills, Karina went on to receive an Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). In addition, Karina has received certification in Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (GIMS), concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, acupuncture and athletic taping.  

 

Karina has a diverse skill set and has experience working with clients of all ages and treating a variety of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and conditions.  Whether it’s acute or chronic, she thoroughly enjoys helping individuals embark or continue on their own unique journey towards better health and well-being.

Karina consistently encourages her clients to keep moving (“motion is lotion”) and models this in her own life.  She currently enjoys running, swimming, cycling, golf, fitness training, and competing in triathlons.  She has always had a keen interest in sports and has had personal experience with baseball, figure skating, basketball, track & field, and soccer.  She loves being active with her kids and going for walks around the community with her husband.
